Violence escalates in Libya
While there are reports that unrest is spreading to the west, the riots so far have taken place in the east.

Protests in Libya, one of the world's major oil suppliers, started on February 15 amid violent anti-government demonstrations across the Middle East.

While there have been reports that unrest has been spreading to the west of the country, the riots are largely centred in the eastern cities of Benghazi, Baidah and Tobruk where hospitals are struggling to cope with the influx of casualties from clashes and people are worried about more chaos ahead.
