Mbak MIa, lagu (Rahmat Kartolo? Rinto Harahap?) masih relevan sampai sekarang. Banyak turis timur
tengah yang mempraktikkan lagu itu. Dan para penghulu kita di sana tidak merasa bersalah lha wong
pokoknya sudah mengikuti prosedur agama. Ada akad, ada calon, ada mahar. Dan ada duit honor
penghulu. Lumayan buat tambahan penghasilan di luar gaji PNS Kementerian Agama. Jadi siapa yang
melecehkan agama di sini?

Ya ya ya, maksud saya seperti perkawinan yang terjadi di Cianjur antara turis Arab (Timur Tengah)
dengan perempuan Indonesia. Kan di media disebutnya kawin siri. Di Cianjur itu kan juga
dinikahkan
oleh penghulu, lalu setelah beberapa bulan/tahun, si laki-laki pulang ke negerinya dan perempuan
ditinggali sejumlah duit.
Di beberapa daerah ada juga kawin kontrak antara perempuan Indonesia dengan laki-laki pekerja
asing. Mereka menjadi suami isteri sah (karena nikah lewat penghulu) selama laki-laki itu bekerja
di Indonesia. Atau untuk kepentingan membeli properti.
Jadi ada perubahan nilai terhadap kesakralan pernikahan menjadi ikatan kontrak, atau dengan
"license" seperti mengemudi mobil saja. Ada masa kedaluwarsanya. Lha kalau sesudah itu masih
ingin
berlanjut, apa ya harus nikah lagi, atau cukup mendaftar perpanjangan surat nikah? Kalau semalam
saja barangkali gak perlu surat nikah ya.

1. Kawin kontrak karena tercantum masa berlaku "license" pernikahan selama 2 tahun. Lha kok siri?

Bukannya kawin di bawah tangan, tanpa catatan?
2. Kenapa kok 2 tahun?
Apa ngga bisa dibuat "semalam" saja? hehehe
Atau diperpanjang sekalian 5 tahun bersamaan dengan habisnya SIM,
supaya ngga repot ngurus perpanjangan?
Gereja Katolik pasti gerah dengan gebrakan-gebrakan dewan kota ini,
setelah sebelumnya mengesahkan kawin sesama jenis.
