Christian author Antoine Bara visits Mashhad museum

TEHRAN -- The Christian author of "Hussein in Christian Ideology" Antoine Bara paid a visit to the Astan-e Qods Razavi Library and Museum in Mashhad here on Sunday.
Kuwait-based Syrian Christian writer Bara, who is currently visiting Iran, expressed his fascination and said that the world is awaiting to see the rare manuscripts preserved here at the museum.
The Astan-e Qods central library and museum adjacent to the shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad houses 82,000 manuscripts, and hundreds of rolls of microfilms and lithographs.
He said every individual who enters the library is intrigued to see the splendid Iranian art and architecture, the Public Relations Office of the museum said in a press release on Monday.
"The books here bear the history of art and spirituality acting as a treasure trove, belonging to the entire world, and not just to the Muslims," he added.
Bara was invited to the 23rd Tehran International Book Fair by the invitation of the International Publishing Company of the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization (IIDO).
The company released the Persian translation of his book by Gholam-Hossein Ansari in Iran in 2009.
